Basic Startup Package for New Images:

This Package consists of a high resolution digital scan of your original art using the BetterLight digital scan back 4x5 camera system.   Included in the package are:

           1. Image cleanup.

           2. Color correction and matching.

           3. Signature removal (if desired).

           4. Up to 3 proofs of your image, which we keep for reference.

           5. Archive of digital files.

This package is offered at $150 for an original artwork up to 22”x30”. We have set up this package to give you flexibility in choosing what size prints you may wish to add to your order once the scan is done. Additional proofing charges will apply after the initial three. Ask about pricing for larger images. This startup package requires the additional purchase of at least $200 worth of prints.

Included free with each print:

           1. Limited edition certificate.

           2. UV/fixative coating

Price Table for the following papers:

Arches Cold-pressed or Hot-pressed - 330 or 660gsm        Watercolor Paper 35.5" x 47.25" maximum sheet size.
Glossy Photobase - 7 mil 36" x 48" maximum sheet size.

Using original art, transparencies, or digital files.

Digital Scan of Your Art Using BetterLight Digital Scan Back 4x5 Camera System:   $125 first hour, one hour minimum.   Additional time at $25 per quarter hour.  

Scan of Photographic Transparencies: 4" x 5" - $50,

8" x 10" - $75

Digital Files from outside sources: Preferred format - TIFF, or RGB (3 channels, 8 or 16 bits per channel) with no compression. At least 200dpi at final output size. Color space - Adobe RGB 1998.

Color Correction/Retouching/Signature Removal: $25 per quarter hour.

Proofs: One 8" x 10" reference proof is required with each new image before printing. This proof is signed by the artist and is kept as a reference print to compare to all future prints. This assures maximum consistency of your prints over the life of the limited edition. Reference proofs - $30 on Arches or photobase paper, $36 on other media.

Media Sizing:   Our pricing is by image size. A 1/2" border for paper, and a 1-1/2" border for canvas is included in the price. For example, an 8" x 10" image size will be printed on paper 9" x 11", or on canvas 11" x 13". Larger borders are available on request.   See Pricing Tables for maximum paper size.

File Copies: Digital file copies of the original scan of your image up to 50 MB are available for $20.00 on a CD or $25 on a DVD.   Image saved in Photoshop TIFF format. Larger digital file size available for additional charge.

Archives: We archive a copy of your original scan and print file for reprint orders. This file can be permanently destroyed by written request.

Terms: All work requires a 50% deposit with order, balance due on completion of the print job and prior to shipping. Sales tax, shipping fees will be billed as necessary. Returned checks subject to $30.00 service charge. Prices may be subject to change, contact us for the latest pricing.
